Gabriele Sponza (Instructor Chef)

Gabriele Sponza took his Cuisine and Restaurants education in USA where he graduated from Johnson & Wales University, College of Culinary Arts, in 2005. During his education, he worked in many prominent hotels including The Ritz Carlton Istanbul.  

After graduating, he initiated his professional career at the three Michelin starred restaurant, Le Vieux Logis, located at Tremolat-France. He continued his career in France but this time he worked at a three Michelin starred restaurant in Marseille, known as Le Petit Nice. In 2007, he went to Le Cordon Bleu of London to expertise on Wines. Then he came back to Istanbul-Turkey to become the kitchen chef of Clements Restaurant in Sait Halim Pasha Yenikoy.  

He then continued his career at Swiss Hotel Gaja Restaurant, as the assistant of the Scottish chef Dominic Scott Jack who came to Turkey for a temporary period from a three Michelin starred restaurant in France. Since November 2008, Sponza has become a member of our school.
